This is my kid, DJ. That short black thing he's holding in his right hand
is what's left of the propeller that broke off the plane at who knows how many
thousand feet above the Southern California Desert. Thanks to some phenomenal
flying by his grandfather and probably the work of a whole host of angels, the
two of them were able to walk away from an air disaster that the FAA guy who
took the report called 'un-survivable.' One 3/8 inch bolt is all that kept
them from plunging uncontrollably to the desert floor. You can read the
