Heading from Saint George towards Wamego, we have the school bus waitin' shack that is built out of local limestone and matches the house it belongs to.

Most of the buildings in Wamego are made from the native limestone. Many of them bear the names of the original builders/businesses
This colorful bunch is the Oz museum as in Wizard of Oz. They held the grand opening this past weekend complete with two of the original munchkins. Can you see the witch in one of the yellow windows?
Built in the late 1890's, it houses the largest surviving collection of murals from the World's Columbian Exposition that was held in Chicago in 1893. It currently is a live community theater venue and available for rent for private and public functions. Learn more here:

The second floor is a B & B (one of the oldest in Kansas), the Eagle View Inn which is named for the fact that it is right across from the Columbian Theatre which is topped with the huge concrete eagle.
