I am constantly running across little tidbits (mostly cartoons) that remind me of people, places, etc. Rather than emailing them willy-nilly, I've decided to gather them in little groups here on the net so everyone can enjoy them.

Jump to: Dad, Will Burnham, My Job

Will Burnham hates SUV's, loves Star Wars, and is a phenomenal photographer.

Mixed references

A Star Wars reference and an Oz one!

Not content with black and white

The shady side? The shady side?

Viagra for vehicles

Yes, the penis-size correlation has been discussed ad-nauseum on Will's site

Gratuitous Star Wars references everywhere

Star Wars just permeates everything, doesn't it?

Now this is a good start...

My dad doesn't have a website. He's a funny guy, he should have one.

My Dad

Another gratuitous reference to my father's name

Dad always was concerned with getting ahead in life...

My father always used to intone this in his Walter Cronkite voice. I thought it was stupid. So did the guy who drew this panel...

When my dad called to say I could visit him in Rome now that he'd been elected pope, I had a sneaking suspicion he was calling from a bar...

When I was a kid my dad built a swing. It had to be bigger and better than all the other swings on the block. It was built of six by six beams of wood. It towered two stories tall. People in the 'hood used it as a landmark to give directions. They called it the gallows...

I like it when I don't have to edit the cartoon to put his name in. Makes life simpler.

My job sometimes involves helping people when they have computer problems. I love it...really I do.

What we're thinking but can't really say

Cats With Hands

...offers a fine example of percussive maintanence
